PROGRAMS: OCA Events for the 2011-2012 year
Orange County Athletics is very excited to offer quality programs to children with Autism and other related disabilities that are behavior focused at a low cost to their families. All staff members volunteer their time at each event. The cost of the event is to cover facility rental and any expense accrued in order to provide a great experience.
What is Saturday Events? Saturday Events consist of children with Autism who are paired with CIT's (typical peers) in a fun filled, structured, and age appropriate setting. All activities are directed by qualified staff that have extensive knowledge in working with children with Autism.
How does my child qualify to participate in any OCA event: Summer camp, Saturday events and Special Olympics training? OCA's director or clinical director contacts the new family to get background information on their child. They will then ask the family for permission to contact the child's teacher and behavior therapist to obtain additional information in making certain that OCA can provide a positive experience for the new family.
